Yeah cut to the chase I went round my grans and one of her cats had captured this little yellow bird and was teasing it, It had a poorly wing and some small grazes. Fortunately my gran took the bird from her cat and put it in the conservatory away from the cats. It wasn't eating or anything so she presumed it was going to die
However
I went in and sat next to it, it was young and looked as if it may have mildly fractured its left wing. It was chirping non-stop for its mother to save it so I decided I would tend for it for a while. Not long after being in there the bird had become accustomed to my company and liked to rest on my knee. I was able to feed it as it liked to feed from my hand and drink drops of water from my finger tips. It had sort of stopped chirping and calling for its mother by then. Probably a good thing, it needed to save its energy and being as its mother was no where near us let alone within hearing the chirping. I nuzzled it now and then and stroked it to calm it when it got scared and it seemed to like me a lot which was rather cute.
I think the cutest moment though was when went to leave, as I set it down on the chair with its seeds and water dish it began chirping again. I'll probably not see it again which kinda sucks :/
Hopefully its wing gets better and it finds its way home

Thank you
Thats sad :/
